HTTP 409 · Do not retry unchanged — fix the request first

The customer code you sent already belongs to a different customer.

What happened

Customer codes are unique within the organization. The request would have given a second customer a code that is already in use. The field is code.

How to fix it

Send the code of the customer you actually mean, or leave code out — Meykt then assigns a free one itself.

Retrying

Repeating the request unchanged will fail again. Correct the request first — the response tells you which part is wrong.
