HTTP 413 · Do not retry unchanged — fix the request first

The JSON body exceeds 256 KiB.

What happened

JSON requests are bounded while being read. The limit applies to the complete UTF-8 body, including metadata and profile payloads. File contents use the separate signed upload flow.

How to fix it

• Keep JSON below 262144 bytes. Attach files by upload_id; never embed base64 file contents.
• Reduce order metadata or send smaller inventory pages. An order is never split into partially accepted requests.

Retrying

Repeating the request unchanged will fail again. Correct the request first — the response tells you which part is wrong.
